Tub time Fun

Her new thing this week is to dunk her face into the water...it is soooo funny! She leans that little head over (and that big ole tummy gets in the way) and she dunks her face into the water and then just laughs!! She'll do it like 3-4 times in a row! We've got to get her signed up for swimming lessons! Summer will be here before we know it!

She is also really playing now! I was laying in her floor with my eyes closed waiting (patiently of course) on her to choose a book for us to read....and she came over and stood in front of me. I didn't open my eyes but I could feel her standing there....all of a sudden she went "ahhhhh" and like tried to "scare" me. I opened my eyes and yelled "ohhh" and she laughed so hard. So of course, we had to do that numerous times in row! Each time her "ahhhhh" would get louder! It was too funny! She's changing everyday and just getting so big! I saw a 3 month old baby today at school and it made me realize JUST how big AC really is....she really isn't a little baby anymore! Time is just passing so quickly.

Warm weather finally!!!

AC finally got to go to the park nd play! It seems like it has been forever since it was warm enough to go out and play....well this weekend was GREAT! We played at the park and rode her wagon around the neighborhood for like 3 hours Saturday! She really enjoyed it! I think the funniest part of the day was after she had been at the park for an hour or so...she climbed into her wagon and settled down for a snack! (Ole girl knew where the food was!) Her goldfish were in a baggie...which she has never eaten out of...usually she has her little snack cup...but I thought we might as well try it since we're outside and it doesn't matter if she makes a mess. She did really well...she ate all of them (of course) and she did NOT throw the baggie out of the wagon once she was finished! So she is not a litterbug! yay!

Today we tried to have a picnic...but it was WAAAAAAY too windy and actually colder than it looked...so we ate fast and came on back inside! (Glad we were just picnic-ing in the backyard! ha So we didn't have far to go!)

Today was our first "no nap" day in a lonnnnnng time. Needless to say, she hasn't had that great of a day...poor thing! She fell asleep an hour earlier than usual tonight...we are hoping she still makes it all night and doesn't wake up at 5 am!!! That's way too early!

Hope your weekend was good too! We'll see you guys soon! :)

Update on Emily

Just wanted to update you on the sweet little first grade girl (Emily) that I asked you guys to be praying for a few months back....she is doing really well at the moment. She is currently undergoing her last round of chemo and will have her stem cell transplant soon. She is such an amazing little girl....when I read the postings that he mom makes and just the things this little seven year old says and does...I am just blown away! She honestly has the best attitude considering all she has been through! Please continue to think about her...she is almost finished with her treatment and hopefully will be cancer free forever! Thanks for thinking about her!

Boo!

She is soooo funny! Just when I think she can't get any funnier...she does something else to top it. Today she was sitting on the couch frozen---like a statue...all she was moving were her eyes back and forth. It was halarious! Then our door went "beep, beep, beep" (because the alarm makes the doors beep anytime they are opened)...so she knows that sound and knows that it means someone is coming in the door. (this was taking place while she was frozen like a statue on the couch)....so all of a sudden she popped up and yelled "Daddy" sooooo loud! Then fell down and really "hid" from him. She kept popping her little head up looking for him...then putting it back down. It was absolutely precious! And the whole time she was just laughing at herself. She thought she was soooo funny too! When daddy finally came over to "get her"...she kept hiding and acting "shy" from him. That is her new thing to do with daddy...she hides and smiles and just looks so shy! It's adorable! She just gets cuter by the minute. I think she might be turning into a daddy's girl!!!

One other small story to happen is similar....she was messing in her bucket of toys beside the couch and daddy leaned over and said "boo" and she yelled "Ahhhhhh" and raised her little arms like she was a monster. Both daddy and I were laughing so hard we could barely stop...this went on for like 3 minutes....the more we laughed...the more she laughed. And the longer she laughs the sillier she gets and the harder she pats her belly. For some reason she is starting to pat her belly when she laughs hard. I think she thinks it feels neat bouncing.

I promise...she's a mess! Sometimes she seems a little too lively! I could go on and on with stories about her...but I'll spare you tonight. I'm going to watch AI...so have a great night and we'll share some more soon!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

We had a great Valentine's Day! Here are a few pics...enjoy! She is wearing her new coat she got for Valentine's Day...she loves it and her bracelets! She puts her bracelets on, takes them off, put them on, takes them off....etc. She is also experimenting with different "faces"...below is her favorite one right now.

Here is another one of her "faces" she is doing right now...

She is a silly goose!

Sliding in the Snow!

It's hard to believe we actually got about 3-4 inches of snow here in AL...but we did! It started Friday around 9 am and the kiddos at school were amazed! We went out and played in it a little and they had the best time. We dismissed at noon...and by the time we dismissed, the ground was completely covered! It was great! AC and I made it home safely!

She had the best time on her sled. She liked it the best when all 3 of us piled on it and went down the "hill". She smiled big and chuckled. She wanted to walk in it...but I had so many layers of clothing on her...poor thing couldn't even bend her arms or legs---definitely looked like the "Christmas Story" boy! So she got a little frustrated because she would try and walk in her boots and they just wouldn't work that well. So she would fall down and not be able to get back up. She let mommy carry her a lot...so that was fine! She had a blast and that's what it's all about! Enjoying time with her!

A Rocking Good Time

She loves her rocking chair Mamaw and Papaw got her for Christmas. She climbs in and out of it...oh, I'd say probably 7 times in a row. Then she'll take a short break (rocking) and then start climbing again!

Dress up!

While getting ready for bed tonight...she decided she just HAD to have her boots on! Then she just HAD to sneak and show daddy how awesome she looked!

Babies, babies, and more babies!

She loves her babies...she almost always has one with her. She has even started wanting to take them places. It is the cutest thing ever....and reminds me of someone! (In case y'all don't know...I had a baby "Amanda" that I took EVERYWHERE! I'll have to ask my mom to make sure how long this lasted....but I'm pretty sure it was years!) AC's baby "Amanda" that she has....is actually my baby Amanda from when I was little...so she has lots of meaning! When we take Amanda places...we watch REALLLLLLY closely not to lose her....if she got lost....there would be TWO BABIES crying! ha

Getting so big!

She looks so much older today....and she is acting wayyyyy older! She understands what we say!!!! You can tell her to go get on her train...and she will walk over and sit on her train and play. You can tell her to go get her teapot and bring some tea...she will go get her teapot and bring a cup too! You can tell her to go get "Amanda" and she will get her and hug her! She honestly understands what we say now!! yay! Hopefully she will continue to do as we say! ha

That being said, we have a funny story to share. We went shopping tonight for more scrapbook stuff (I am determined to have her 1st year finished before this month is over!)...so while we are there, I decide that we should go ahead and look for her a small Easter basket that she will be able to hold good for the egg hunt. So we find "the perfect one" and she will NOT hold it! She just looks at me like I'm crazy...and you know she carries bags and purses around constantly...so that is why I'm ever more confused at this point- she has never declined a purse before! I continue to try...she continues to walk away. Welllll, then she changed her mind! She found the buckets of things that are 1.00 (ya know at Michael's they have that whole section with little stuff for 1.00)...well she just most politely filled her Easter basket full of rubber stamps, tissues with a "R" on them, and princess stickers. It was funny! So then I finally got her to empty that stuff and practice with fake eggs....and the basket worked! So it was a keeper and we are hoping it will be the perfect basket for her to bring to the egg hunt. She should be good by then! We're going to practice! (ha!)
